About Umuomaku

Umuomaku is a town in Orumba South Local Government Area of Anambra State, Nigeria. There are currently four villages in the town which are Umunambu, Okpobe, Umuokpurukpu, Umungada and Okwu.

The town has four major linked roads and can be accessed through these routes: Ibughubu Umuchu on the Umunze–Uga express, Ezira on the Ekwulobia–Umunze road, Enugu Umuonyia, and from Amanasa Umuchu.

The market day for the town is EKE. People from various locations come to trade their goods and services at the market.

The people of Umuomaku value their culture and, most importantly, are known for being warm and welcoming.
